Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup Crisco oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Grease a tube pan and set aside.
  2. Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans together.
  3. Put half of the nut mixture in the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cake mix, instant vanilla pudding, water, and oil until well combined.
  5. Add eggs one at a time to the batter, beating well after each addition.
  6. Pour half of the cake batter over the nut mixture in the pan.
  7. Add the remaining nut mixture over the batter.
  8. Top with the remaining cake batter.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60 minutes.
  10. Cool the cake for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan.
