Ingredients

  • large pecan halves
  • butter
  • soy sauce
  • salt
  • Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  1. For each cup of large pecans, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a shallow pan.
  2. Spread the pecans evenly in the bottom of the pan.
  3. Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes, stirring several times during baking.
  4. Mix 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 3 or 4 dashes of Tabasco sauce into the toasted pecans.
  5. Pack into jars with tight lids for storage.
