Ingredients

  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and seeds removed
  • 1 Tbsp. chives, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh dill, minced
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. sour cream or yogurt
  • 1 qt. buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Grate the cucumber and place it in a bowl.
  2. Add chopped chives, minced dill, sugar, salt, dry mustard, sour cream or yogurt, and buttermilk to the grated cucumber.
  3. Mix well and chill the soup until cold.
  4. Garnish with additional chopped chives before serving.
