Ingredients

  • 1 can French-cut green beans
  • 1 small can green peas
  • 1 small jar pimento, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned French-cut green beans and green peas.
  2. Add chopped pimento and chopped onion to the beans and peas.
  3. Mix salt, sugar, water, oil, and vinegar to create the dressing.
  4. Pour the dressing over the bean mixture and stir well.
  5. Refrigerate the salad overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, pour off any excess liquid.
