A flavorful cold pepper steak marinated in a tangy pepper and vinegar mixture, perfect for summer buffets and served chilled for a refreshing main course.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup corn oil
  • 2 Tbsp cracked pepper
  • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a 12 x 8-inch baking dish, combine water, corn oil, cracked pepper, red wine vinegar, thyme leaves, and sea salt.
  2. Add the steak to the mixture and coat well.
  3. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
  4. Preheat the broiler. Broil the steak on a broiling pan for 30 minutes, turning once.
  5. Cover and refrigerate to serve cold.
