Ingredients

  • 12 oz. vanilla wafers
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 7 oz. flaked coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and margarine together until well combined.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  3. Alternately add crushed vanilla wafers and milk to the mixture.
  4. Stir in chopped nuts and flaked coconut.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
