Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 (6 oz.) package strawberry gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon brandy (optional)
  • 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped apples

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup water, sugar, and cranberries in a saucepan.
  2. Bring just to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat, cover, and let cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Combine 1 cup boiling water and strawberry gelatin in a bowl.
  5. Stir until dissolved.
  6. Add 1 cup cold water, cranberry mixture, and lemon juice; stir well.
  7. Chill until thickened.
  8. Fold in chopped apples, chopped celery, chopped nuts, and cream cheese.
  9. Chill until firm before serving.
