Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 slices bread
  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place bread pieces in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pork sausage and crumble it over the bread.
  3. Beat eggs with milk.
  4. Add cheese, dry mustard, salt, and pepper to the egg mixture.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and bread in the baking dish.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Place in a cold oven and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
