Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bulk sausage or links, cooked
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onions
  • 1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bread (crusts only)

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage; drain and cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add milk, mustard, mushrooms, onions and cheese.
  3. Add cooked sausage.
  4. Cut crusts off bread and cut into pieces.
  5. Add crusts to the egg mixture; mix well.
  6. Put into a greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
  7. Refrigerate overnight.
  8. Bake at 350° until firm and brown around the edges, about 30 to 40 minutes.
