Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef stew
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 pint sour cream

Instructions

  1. Lightly flour and brown the beef stew meat.
  2. Mix and pour the cream of mushroom soup, water, wine, and mushrooms over the browned meat.
  3. Cover and bake at 325°F for 3.5 hours.
  4. Remove from the oven.
  5. Fold in sour cream and serve.
