Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. top round steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. sliced green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
  • 1 can Franco-American beef gravy (10 1/4 oz.)
  • 6 large hard rolls (4-inch), split
  • lettuce leaves
  • chopped tomatoes
  • shredded Muenster cheese

Instructions

  1. In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil.
  2. Add the sliced beef, green onions, garlic, and oregano; cook until the beef is browned, stirring often.
  3. Stir in the beef gravy and heat through.
  4. Line the bottom half of each roll with lettuce leaves.
  5. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture onto each roll.
  6. Top with shredded Muenster cheese and chopped tomatoes.
