Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup cooking or salad oil
  • 2 tablespoons A.1. steak sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 ounces can beer

Instructions

  1. Mix all seasonings and liquids to prepare the marinade.
  2. Pour the marinade over the tri-tip steak, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Grill the tri-tip and use the remaining marinade as a basting sauce during grilling.
