Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 1/2 cups shredded zucchini
  • 3 cups coarsely shredded carrots

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a Dutch oven or large saucepan.
  2. Add all ingredients and heat to boiling.
  3. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.
