Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 squash, peeled and cut
  • 1 small onion, peeled and cut
  • 1 box prepared Jiffy mix cornbread
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Boil squash and onions until tender.
  2. Drain the squash and onions.
  3. Crumble the prepared Jiffy cornbread mix into a large bowl.
  4. Mix in the drained squash and onions.
  5. Add melted butter and any additional ingredients as desired.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350°F until the top is brown and bubbly.
