Ingredients

  • 1 c. white cornmeal
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 cornbread stick pans which have been greased generously.
  2. Mix the batter and pour into very hot pans.
  3. Bake at 425°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
