Cow Flops are rich, chocolatey coconut oatmeal treats that are quick to make and perfect for satisfying sweet cravings or serving at casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 3 1/2 c. oatmeal

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, oleo, and cocoa.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium and cook for 2 1/2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  4. Mix in coconut and oatmeal until well combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls quickly onto wax paper or a tray and let cool.
