Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs (at room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan and line it with foil, then grease the foil.
  3. Melt 1 cup chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring often.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl.
