Ingredients

  • 1 can crabmeat
  • 1 jar Old English cheese spread
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 to 1 stick margarine, softened
  • 5 English muffins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° to 400° F.
  2. Mix together the crabmeat, Old English cheese spread, mayonnaise, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on the split English muffin halves.
  4. Place the muffins on a wire cookie rack set inside a lipped pan to catch excess margarine.
  5. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  6. Optionally, freeze the assembled muffins up to 3 months before baking, then bake directly from frozen.
