Ingredients

  • 6 1/2 oz. can fresh crabmeat
  • 1 cup soft bread cubes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, mashed
  • 1/3 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced green olives
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Clean the crabmeat and pick out any shells.
  2. Mix the crabmeat, bread cubes, mayonnaise, milk, mashed eggs, chopped onions, sliced green olives (if using), salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Top with buttered bread crumbs.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Can be prepared a day ahead and reheated.
