Ingredients

  • 6 1/2 to 7 oz. frozen crabmeat, defrosted
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate crabmeat in lemon juice and cover; refrigerate for one hour.
  2. Mix heavy cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, minced onion, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  3. Drain the marinated crabmeat and gently fold it into the mixture.
  4. Spread the crab mixture on cocktail rye breads.
  5. Broil for a few minutes until lightly browned and heated through.
  6. Serve immediately.
