Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup uncooked oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a dash of nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup melted oleo
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup whole cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted oleo together to make the crumb topping.
  2. Peel and slice the apples; then mix them with the cranberry sauce.
  3. Put the apple and cranberry mixture into a greased 9-inch baking pan.
  4. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the top of the fruit mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 45 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, with or without ice cream or whipped cream.
