Ingredients

  • 1 quart fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • Juice of 2 oranges

Instructions

  1. Boil cranberries in cold water until mushy.
  2. Put through a sieve to remove skins and seeds.
  3. Add sugar and cook on low heat until sugar dissolves.
  4. Add orange juice and orange rind.
  5. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze until hard.
  6. Remove from freezer and beat until frothy.
  7. Refreeze until ready to serve.
  8. Serve with a turkey dinner.
