Ingredients

  • 2 qt. popped corn
  • 1 1/3 c. broken pecans
  • 2/3 c. peanuts
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup

Instructions

  1. Spread popped corn, broken pecans, and peanuts on a cookie sheet.
  2. In a pan, bring to a boil the sugar, margarine, and white Karo syrup. Stir constantly and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until it turns a light caramel color.
  3. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and nuts.
  4. Spread out to cool and dry.
  5. Once cooled, break into chunks.
  6. Stir to combine and store in a tightly closed container.
