Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Combine water and butter in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add flour and salt to the butter mixture.
  4. Stir vigorously until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and forms a ball.
  5. Let cool for 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, beating with a wooden spoon after each addition.
  7. Spoon dough into mounds on a baking sheet and bake as directed.
  8. Cut tops off and pull out the soft dough inside.
  9. Fill with cream filling.
