Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • Pecan halves
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Red or green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Blend the soft butter, salt, and light corn syrup until smooth.
  2. Mix in the confectioners sugar and knead the mixture until well blended.
  3. Divide the mixture in half and add red food coloring to one half and green to the other.
  4. Shape each colored portion into 1-inch balls and press a pecan half into the center of each.
