Creamed Cucumber Pickles

Creamed cucumber pickles combine crisp sliced cucumbers with a creamy, tangy dressing, accented by bacon and onions, perfect as a refreshing side for casual meals or picnics.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Miracle Whip
  • 1 pt cream
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp vinegar
  • 3 to 4 cucumbers, sliced thin
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • shake of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 dozen slices onion, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup crumbled fried bacon
  • 1/4 c. crumbled crisply fried bacon

Instructions

  1. Slice cucumbers thinly and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix Miracle Whip, cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Add sliced cucumbers, onion slices, and crumbled bacon to the dressing.
  4. Toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
