Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • dash of salt
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 7 oz. Marshmallow Creme

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, half and half, butter, and salt in a heavy 3-quart saucepan.
  2. Bring to a full rolling boil for 6 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Pour the hot mixture over the chocolate chips, chopped unsweetened chocolate, and marshmallow creme.
  4. Beat until the chocolate and marshmallow are melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add nuts and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the mixture into a buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
  7. Let stand several hours before cutting into squares.
  8. Store in a cool place.
