Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Camelia brand red beans
  • 3 large ham hocks
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cook red beans with ham hocks under low fire for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  2. Add seasonings (salt, pepper, parsley) after 2 hours of cooking.
  3. Let simmer for about 2 hours or until the beans are creamy.
  4. Serve with rice.
