Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. soft margarine
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
  • dash of salt
  • 4 c. unsifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. flavoring (vanilla, maple, mint, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, salt, marshmallow cream, and half of the powdered sugar with a mixer until blended.
  2. Knead in the remaining powdered sugar by hand if necessary, unless using a mixer with a dough hook.
  3. The mixture will be very stiff; add flavorings at this stage if making a single flavor.
  4. Divide the mixture and add different flavorings for variety if desired.
  5. Shape into desired forms and chill.
  6. Dip the shaped candies in chocolate coating to finish.
