Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 oz crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed taco chips
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger meat in a skillet; add taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a 9-inch pie pan, unroll crescent dinner rolls to form the crust.
  3. Sprinkle half of the crushed taco chips evenly over the bottom of the crust.
  4. Spoon the cooked meat mixture over the chips, then spread sour cream on top, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crushed taco chips over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and taco sauce if desired.
