Ingredients

  • 2 lb. small tender green beans
  • 1 tsp. red pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 large heads dill
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 1 pt. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Stem green beans and pack uniformly in hot, sterilized jars.
  2. To each pint jar, add 1/4 teaspoon red pepper, 1 clove garlic, and 1 head dill.
  3. Heat water, salt, and vinegar together until boiling.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil; pour over the packed beans in the jars.
  5. Seal the jars immediately.
