Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup oleo
  • 1 cup warmed milk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Combine flour, salt, lemon juice, and 1 1/4 cups sugar.
  3. Cut oleo into the flour mixture with a fork until crumbly.
  4. Combine eggs, warmed milk, and yeast mixture; add to the flour mixture.
  5. Mix lightly until just combined.
  6. Cover tightly and chill overnight.
