Crispy Mandarin Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless pork cut into 3/4-inch cubes
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seed
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
  • 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
  • 2 medium green peppers, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine egg white, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and soy sauce. Stir in cubed pork.
  2. Combine biscuit mix, water, sesame seed and combine with pork mixture.
  3. Place 8 pieces of pork, one at a time, into deep hot fat.
  4. Fry 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Drain on paper towel. Keep warm in 250° oven.
