Crispy Mandarin Pork
Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless pork cut into 3/4-inch cubes ⓘ
- 1 egg white ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 c. biscuit mix ⓘ
- 1/3 c. water ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges ⓘ
- 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced ⓘ
- 1/2 c. catsup ⓘ
- 1/4 c. sugar ⓘ
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules ⓘ
- 2 medium green peppers, cut into 3/4-inch pieces ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine egg white, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and soy sauce. Stir in cubed pork.
- Combine biscuit mix, water, sesame seed and combine with pork mixture.
- Place 8 pieces of pork, one at a time, into deep hot fat.
- Fry 2 to 3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towel. Keep warm in 250° oven.
