Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. (1/2 lb.) soft butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugars until fluffy.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix the flour, salt, and baking soda together.
  4. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the granola and raisins.
  6. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased or nonstick baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden brown, about 10 to 12 minutes.
  8. Let the cookies stand a few minutes on baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool.
