Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 20 soda crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites until fluffy.
  2. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  3. Beat in vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in crushed soda crackers mixed with sugar and chopped nuts.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch round or square pan.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
  7. Serve with fresh berries, peaches, ice cream, or whipped cream.
  8. Serve small portions as it is rich.
