Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fish fillets
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 1 tsp. dried dill weed
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Soak fish fillets in lemon juice and water.
  2. In a large plastic bag, combine cracker crumbs with salt, lemon peel, dill weed, and pepper.
  3. Drain fish and pat dry.
  4. Dip fish in beaten egg, then in the cracker crumb mixture.
  5. Fry in 1/4 to 1/2-inch hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
