Crusty garlic bread features crisp, toasted French bread brushed with a flavorful mixture of garlic, parsley, paprika, and Parmesan, perfect as a side for pasta or soups.

Ingredients

  • 2 small loaves French bread
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Add chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
  4. Cut the French bread crosswise into pieces.
  5. Brush the cut sides of the bread with the mixture.
  6. Place the bread on a foil-lined cookie sheet.
  7. Bake until heated through and crust is crisp, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
