  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon caramel flavor
  • 2 cups nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine brown sugar, cream, butter, cinnamon, and salt in a 2-quart saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 224°F on a candy thermometer (firm ball stage).
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla, caramel flavor, and nuts.
  4. Spread the mixture on a cookie sheet to cool.
