Ingredients

  • 4 cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 garlic clove

Instructions

  1. Peel cucumbers and cut into very thin slices.
  2. Combine vinegar, sugar, and water in a bowl.
  3. Pour the vinegar mixture over the sliced cucumbers.
  4. Add the garlic clove and sprinkle with chopped fresh dill or dill weed.
  5. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. Remove the garlic before serving.
