Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 slices pound cake
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup sweetened raspberries

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites and salt in a medium bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
  3. Place cake slices on a baking sheet.
  4. Put one scoop of vanilla ice cream on each cake slice.
  5. Spread the egg white mixture over the ice cream.
  6. Bake at 450°F for 4 minutes until lightly browned and the ice cream slightly melts.
  7. Remove from oven and add sweetened raspberries on top as desired.
