Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 chicken flavored bouillon cube
  • 1 cup uncooked instant rice
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder

Instructions

  2. Add water and the chicken flavored bouillon cube; bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in the uncooked instant rice, raisins (if using), and curry powder.
  4. Allow the mixture to return to a boil; cover and remove from heat.
  5. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
