- Wash cucumbers and drain.

- Combine remaining ingredients: 1/4 cup mustard seed, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 2 1/2 cups sugar, 2 cups vinegar, and 6 cups water.
- Heat the mixture to boiling.
- Put the cucumbers into sterilized jars, pour the hot pickling liquid over them, and seal.
