Dana'S Pineapple Layer Cake

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix cake mix as instructed on the box and pour into two 9-inch round pans.
- Bake for approximately 15-22 minutes until cakes are done.
- Meanwhile, drain crushed pineapple and mix with sour cream and sugar in a large bowl.
- Take half of the pineapple-sour cream mixture and fold in the container of Cool Whip.
- Refrigerate both mixtures until the cakes are completely cooled.
- Once cooled, spread the pineapple-sour cream mixture without Cool Whip on top of one cake layer.
- Place the second cake layer on top of the first, with the pineapple mixture in between.
- Spread the Cool Whip mixture all over the assembled cake as frosting.
- Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Enjoy!
