Ingredients

  • 7 cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell
  • 2 teaspoon butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Place apple slices in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon; add to apples and stir to coat.
  3. Pour apples into baked pastry shell; spread evenly.
  4. Mix together remaining ingredients for topping and sprinkle over apples.
  5. Cook on High in the microwave until apples are fork tender.
  6. Cool before serving.
