Ingredients

  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Measure one cup of sifted flour into a bowl; cut in 1/2 cup of butter.
  3. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of water and mix with a fork.
  4. Roll into a ball and divide in half.
  5. Pat dough with hands into 2 long 12 x 3-inch strips.
  6. Place strips on an ungreased baking sheet with 3 inches apart.
