- Pour the boiling water over the mixture and stir well. Let it cool until lukewarm.
- Sprinkle yeast over the lukewarm mixture and allow it to set until tiny beads appear, about 10 minutes.
- Add 3 1/2 cups sifted flour and mix well to form a dough.
- Turn the dough onto a floured board and knead until smooth, about 10 minutes.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into pans.
- Let the dough rise in the pans for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 45 minutes until golden brown and loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
