Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 16 ounces chopped dates
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nut meats

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs until well combined.
  2. Add sugar and beat until creamy, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Mix in crushed graham crackers, chopped nut meats, and chopped dates.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch or 4-sided cookie sheet, lined with wax paper and greased.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes after baking.
  7. Turn the torte upside down onto a serving platter and peel off the wax paper.
