Creamy deviled potatoes with a tangy mustard and green onion topping, perfect as a comforting side dish for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 medium potatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. softened butter
  • 1/3 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut potatoes into 4 pieces each.
  2. Cover with boiling water and add salt.
  3. Cook for 20 to 40 minutes, until tender when tested with a fork.
  4. Drain the potatoes.
  5. Add softened butter and warm milk to the potatoes and mash until free of lumps.
  6. Heat the sour cream in a small saucepan over a low flame.
  7. Add mustard and sugar to the sour cream and mix well.
  8. Pour the sour cream mixture over the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  9. Heat in a 350°F oven for 12 minutes.
