Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except water; beat for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from mixer.
  4. Stir in boiling water. Batter will be thin!
  5. Pour into greased and floured pan.
  6. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
