Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In small bowl, lightly mix together cold water and egg.
  2. Add 1 cup cake flour.
  3. Barely mix just enough to dampen.
  4. (Batter should be lumpy.)
  5. Then add 2/3 cup more flour.
  6. Sprinkle it over batter and fold in twice.
  7. Dip small strips of fish, chicken or turkey in batter.
  8. (Kind of pull them through the batter to coat.)
  9. Cook in hot oil until golden.
  10. Drain.
  11. Keep warm in oven.
